Tuesday: Students will learn about sexting (what it is and the consequences of it).
Wednesday: Students will learn about cyberbullying and what to do if they are cyberbullied.
Thursday: Review for Internet Safety Test! STUDY! Test is tomorrow!
Friday: Internet Safety Unit Test.
7th grade
Monday: Students will compare and contrast the signs, symptoms, and damaging effects of anorexia and bulimia.
Tuesday: Students will practice identifying signs and symptoms of eating disorders and also learn how to help a friend if they suspect they have an eating disorder.
Wednesday: Media Day!
Thursday: Review for Eating Disorders Test! STUDY! Test is tomorrow!
Friday: Eating Disorders Unit Test.
8th grade
Monday: Students will begin working on their drug project.
Tuesday: Continue working on drug project (create poster in class and write script for PSA).
Wednesday: Continue working on drug poster (finalize script for PSA and record it).
Thursday: Students will present their projects.
Friday: Review for Drug Unit Test! STUDY! Test is on Monday!
RTI:
Monday: Finish reading the stories students wrote last week during class.
Tuesday: Scary story day (students will be read various scary stories).
Wednesday: Students will be given a list of journal prompts and will write on one of the various options. Students will be able to share their responses with the class.
Thursday: Students will be given a list of journal prompts and will write on one of the various options. Students will be able to share their responses with the class.
Friday: Students will create a Halloween acrostic poem and take turns reading theirs to the class.
