6th and 7th: Students will be completing their folder designs.
8th: Students are continuing to build their name sculptures.
Tuesday, 11/19:
6th: Folder designs are due today. Next, students will begin the Line Variety Project. First, students will view artwork showing the use of line, shape, color and emphasis. Students will choose an animal design and create a various lines and patterns to fill and emphasize the shapes.
7th: Folder designs are due today. Students will view examples to identify the use of emphasis, movement and balance. Students will create designs using construction paper, focusing on creating either emphasis and movement or balance/symmetry with their design.
8th: Students are continuing to build their name sculptures.
Wednesday - Friday, 11/20-22:
6th: Continue Line Variety Project.
7th: Continue Construction Paper Projects
8th: Students will continue their name sculptures and may also begin constructing their clay boxes when they are ready. The name sculptures are due on Friday.
RtI: Students are reading chapters 3 and 4 of Chasing Vermeer.
