Health Education Plans for the week of December 2nd
6th grade
Monday: Review for tobacco test. STUDY! Test is tomorrow!!
Tuesday: Tobacco Test.
Wednesday: Introduction to the Reproductive Unit. Expectations and overview.
Thursday: Students will learn about the male reproductive system.
Friday: Students will learn about the male reproductive system.
7th grade
Monday: Begin Nutrition Unit. Students will learn about the information that is required to be on every food label (basic nutrition information).
Tuesday: Students will learn about the information that is required to be on every food label (basic nutrition information).
Wednesday: Students will learn about sugar and its many forms.
Thursday: In class activity. Students will practice reading food labels.
Friday: Students will learn about obesity; what it is, risk associated with it and causes. Students will learn about portions and see how they have changed throughout the years.
8th grade
Monday: Students will continue to work on their drug project (computer lab).
Tuesday: Students will continue to work on their drug project (computer lab).
Wednesday: Work on and finish drug project (computer lab).
Thursday: Students will present their drug presentations to the class.
Friday: Introduction to sexuality unit. Students will receive a “crash course” lesson on female and male anatomy.
