This will be the last week of Home Living for 6th & 7th grades. On Tuesday, November 12th, my classes will move to art.
I have enjoyed getting to know this group of 6th graders and look forward to see them again.
6th grade will learn more about vegetables and what part of the plant they are from.We will solve the age old mystery, is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable? They will have a test over fruits and vegetables on Thursday. Congratulations to my 4th hour, 6th grade class for having 33% of their parents come visit during conferences. They earned an extra food lab this week, or I might
7th grade will discuss main dish meals and snack foods and have a foods lab.
8th grade continues in my class until christmas break. This week they are completing their one bedroom apartment project, which ends with them designing a room in a shoe box. THEY NEED A SHOE BOX AT SCHOOL ON MONDAY!
