Monday – Labor Day: No Classes Tuesday – Learning the perspective formula. Continue draw-a-long of perspective cubes, cylinders, and prisms. Wednesday – Begin final perspective drawing as a group with a draw-a-long. Thursday – Continue final perspective drawing with details (sidewalk, line of trees, etc.). Friday – Students will work on final perspective drawings individually by adding color and additional drawn details. 7th Grade: Monday – Labor Day: No Classes Tuesday – Students will begin final still life drawings with a pencil-drawn outline of the still life objects. Wednesday – Continue final still life drawing. Thursday – Add value to final still life drawing as practiced in last week’s “value packet”. Friday – Introduction to the painting unit. 8th Grade: Monday – Labor Day: No Classes Tuesday – Final day to complete still life drawing. Wednesday – Begin linoleum block print project by sketching image ideas onto tracing paper. Thursday – Transfer printmaking image from tracing paper to linoleum and attach it to a wood block. Friday – Begin carving linoleum block using Speedball handles. Monday
