6th and 7th: Students are beginning the trimester in Art. Over these two
days, the students and I will create a Class Contract to adapt the Pride Guide
to class and will also create some cartoon drawings that express different
attitudes.
Wednesday - Friday, 2/26-28:
6th and 7th:
Students will begin to create surface design for their folders that expresses
their interests and personality.
8th: Students are continuing to complete sculptures.
Wire Sculpture: A figure posed for a certain action, attached to a platform with a surface design relating to that action. The sculpture reflects the student's understanding of proportion and form.
Clay Mug/Container: A cylindrical form with a bottom and surface design. The finished container will reflect the student's construction and design skills.
